Dr. Margaret Albertson studied Biology at Shippensburg University and went on to obtain her doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2012. She received her clinical training at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, the University of Florida Department of Ophthalmology in Jacksonville, the Huntington Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Virginia, and Hellerstein & Brenner Vision Center in Colorado. After receiving her doctorate, Dr. Albertson completed a residency in primary care at the Dayton VAMC in Ohio. In 2014, she became a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Her special interests include the treatment and management of ocular disease, specialty contact lens, and full scope primary care.
