Northwest Eye Physicians Office-based Eye Surgery Suite

Northwest Eye Physicians is now able to offer cataract surgery in our office!

We have worked with iOR Partners to develop this new innovative service within our practice. We are using all of the latest technology, both in terms of instrumentation and intraocular lens implants. The experience is completely different from a typical hospital or surgery center visit as we are using our own staff and oral sedation only. That means no IV sticks or uncomfortable gowns to wear. Patients will be working with our very pleasant staff whom they already know from prior visits.

Most patients are candidates for office-based surgery, but some will still need to go to the surgery center if they have major medical issues or require intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. This is an exciting time for our practice as we enter this new mode of office-based surgery. It certainly has many advantages and should increase our customer service and satisfaction.
